Having been prepared by Girl Talk, I brought my “camera pole” (monopod) setup again in order to shoot over the DJ’s table, this time with the handy addition of a shutter release so that I didn’t have to set the 10 second timer for every shot. It worked out pretty well and even the security guards offered up their approval. Then Tiesto’s management wouldn’t approve any of the closeup shots I took anyway so it was all pretty much an exercise in futility. Good practice, though.
