Halloween, Alaska performing at First Avenue – Minneapolis, MN, April 16, 20011.

I spent a lot of time listening to Halloween, Alaska last year and hadn’t seen them since their performance at Cause last fall (I think?). I was excited to see them but slightly bummed that their regular drummer, David King, didn’t play with them. He is a fun guy to watch. H,A sounded great in the main room but I still sort of question their suitability for that venue. For me, they’re just a touch too slow/quiet for that space.
